Rossese di Dolceacqua Luvaira is certainly the most representative expression of the territory, one of the best known and most appreciated crus.
It comes from a specific area of the territory, located in the municipality of San Biagio della Cima, the heart of the production zone.
It is produced with grapes from a century-old vineyard grown on steep terrain well exposed to the sun.
The combination of microclimate, proximity to the sea and mineral-rich soil contribute to creating a very fine, elegant and harmonious wine.
It has a ruby red colour, a complex nose with notes of ripe red fruit enriched by hints of aromatic herbs.
It has good acidity and freshness, with soft tannins and a fruity aftertaste, with a good mineral note.
It is produced in limited quantities, and only in the best years.
